During my tenure at Advalent Nepal from May 2022 to January 2024, I played a crucial role in managing and optimizing production databases. This involved loading data from various sources, implementing de-duplication, null handling, and validation processes. I addressed data issues through systematic troubleshooting, offering extensive support for bug resolution, event scheduling, and data correction. Additionally, I significantly improved stored procedure performance by utilizing Common Table Expressions (CTEs) and windowing functions, enhancing execution efficiency. My contributions extended to working on PHI Data De-identification, JSON data extraction, and manipulation. I demonstrated a commitment to collaboration within an agile environment, actively engaging with a diverse team of developers, project managers, and internal users. Throughout, I meticulously documented processes, proofs of concept (POCs), and guidelines for future reference, ensuring a comprehensive and accessible knowledge base.

Verisk Nepal: Associate Software Engineer

During my tenure at Verisk Nepal from July 2021 to May 2022, I demonstrated proficiency in database management using SSMS, optimizing query execution, and handling day-to-day tasks seamlessly. As a pivotal team member, I actively contributed to the transition from an SSIS workflow to Airflow, where I played a key role in designing Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) and conducting thorough pipeline testing. Additionally, I diversified my skill set by employing tools such as Figma for wireframing, Pandas for data profiling, and Flask for hosting internal sites. Leveraging AWS Lambda, I automated data integration from S3 into the database, showcasing a practical understanding of cloud-based solutions within the AWS environment. This period marked my acquisition of foundational knowledge in AWS, enriching my capabilities for effective and innovative data management solutions.
